"Plein-air" painting is painting in the "open air." Often the artist is painting landscapes. ACES is proud to launch the Inaugural Plein Air & Urban Sketchers Festival in downtown Meridian, Mississippi where there is a wide range of urban landscapes.

Whether you are an artist who paints, draws, or sketches you are invited to participate. There will be both professional and amateur levels of competition

Art made before an audience is both tangible and magical at the same time. Watch & engage with the artist during this creative process. It will be an empowering, encouraging and unforgettable entry to your appreciation of art. Works will be available for sale after the awards ceremony.
